Three-year-old dies after allegedly being left in hot car in Sydney's south-west

A three-year-old boy has died after allegedly being left in a hot car in Sydney's south-west.

Police say the incident happened on Railway Parade at Glenfield, with officers called to the car about 3pm after reports that a child was unresponsive.

Paramedics attended but the child died at the scene.

"Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were told the child had been in the vehicle throughout the day," police said in a statement.
