NSW's Jarome Luai defends himself after taunting Queensland winger Selwyn Cobbo in State of Origin III
NSW five-eighth Jarome Luai says he has got nothing to apologise for after standing over Queensland's Selwyn Cobbo when the winger was knocked unconscious in State of Origin III at Lang Park.
Cobbo was concussed while attempting a tackle in the early stages of the match and later failed a head injury assessment.
Luai said he had spoken to Cobbo after the match, which the Maroons won 22-12 to clinch the State of Origin series.
He said he had not apologised to Cobbo, instead suggesting his actions were just part of a heated Origin rivalry.
